Value delivery is a core capability
Projects are how an organization changes itself. The way they are governed belongs beside the way the organization is run, not in an administrative function handed to whoever is free.
The methodology
Stratija implements an authored methodology.
The Value Delivery Methodology™ is a body of practice developed across three decades of capital and organizational projects by Mounir Ajam, and published in Delivering Value. It is the methodology inside the Uruk Framework, and Stratija is its software form.
What the methodology holds
Four claims the whole method rests on.
They are the reason the software is shaped the way it is. Each one shows up as something the product does.

One process cannot serve every piece of work
A small internal change and a multi-year capital programme get different stage paths, different gates and different deliverables. Force them through one process and either the small work drowns or the large work is under-governed.

A stage opens on a decision
A stage does not begin because the previous one finished, or because a date arrived. It begins because somebody with the authority to say so approved a gate, on named evidence, and the record says what that approval opened. A decision of that kind has criteria, it rests on governance rather than on preference, and it weighs the risk of going on.

A deliverable carries its own guidance
The methodology does not describe a Project Brief in a handbook and then hand you an empty document. The sections are established, and the explanation of what each section is for travels with the section itself.

The methodology sits at the core. Six elements connect into it, wrapped by the People System inside and Community and Support outside, with Governance as the umbrella over all of it. Select any part of the drawing to see what is inside it.

The six elements are Strategy Formulation, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Program Management, Project Management and Supporting Actions. Each is a body of practice in its own right, and each draws on the same core instead of on a method of its own.
Governance is drawn as the outer umbrella, and the drawing is doing something specific there. Governance is not a seventh element standing beside the other six. It is embedded in all of them. Every element has decisions with owners, evidence and records, so it sits over the whole structure instead of taking a slice of it.
Authorship
The framework is Mounir Ajam's.
It is drawn from the CAMMP lineage he developed across three decades of capital and organizational projects, and it is published in his book Delivering Value. Stratija did not derive a methodology from that work. The platform is being built with him, and the methodology it ships is his, in his words.
What the platform adds is the mechanism. His methods, stages, gates and deliverables arrive as the starting point, and an organization forks them into its own: renaming what it calls things, adding the sections its work needs, without losing the shape of the method and without complying with somebody else's vocabulary.

The methodology is published, and it is free to read.
